4. Inspection of your bedding: Once we receive your package, our experts will conduct a thorough inspection of your bedding, assessing its condition and possible options for cleaning, refinishing, or refurbishing.
5. Telephone consultation: After the assessment, we will contact you by telephone to discuss the results and determine your wishes for further processing.
6. Carrying out the cleaning: As soon as you give us the green light, we will begin professionally cleaning and processing your bedding according to the agreed specifications.

• Separation of lining and filling: First, we separate the down or feathers from the lining (the outer fabric). The lining is carefully treated with UV light to sterilize it without washing—this prevents the lining from leaking.
• Filling cleaning: The down and feathers are thoroughly cleaned separately. We use steam, heat, and UV light to eliminate all germs. Dust and broken feathers are removed to hygienically prepare the filling.
• Inlet renewal: If the inlet is damaged or upon request, we will be happy to replace the inlet and adjust it to the desired size.
• Refilling and reassembly: After cleaning, the filling is dried and refilled into the old or new filling. Upon request, we can also add additional filling of the same or a different quality to restore the volume and softness of your bedding.

- Our cleaning service for down and feather products is particularly efficient. The entire cleaning process typically takes less than 24 hours . Thanks to our specialized methods, we can clean the down and feathers quickly and thoroughly, so your bedding is ready for use again in no time.

Note: Please note that shipping time must also be taken into account. The actual time it takes to return your cleaned bedding will therefore also depend on postal delivery times.

• Natural hair blankets and natural fiber blankets:

- Cleaning natural hair and natural fiber blankets takes longer. Since these products require a complete wash, the process takes longer. Depending on the material and the scope of the work, please allow several days for your blankets to be returned to you.

We keep the payment process at Betten-Michel simple and straightforward (mail-in service):

• Shipping after receipt of payment: Once we have received your payment, we will immediately ship your freshly cleaned bedding back to you.
